This Unit looked at how to teach productive skills. Productive skills include speaking skills and writing skills. I learned that during the Study phase, the focus is on accuracy while in the Activate phase, the focus is on fluency. Furthermore there are three types of activities - Controlled, Guided and Creative. Controlled activities are used in the Study phase, Guided in either Study or Active and Creative activities are used in the Activate stage.
