The content of this lesson was two videos demonstrating ineffective and effective teaching in the class room. I was able to see clearly in the video that it is always best to start with the simplicity of engaging students with simple introductions. It was apparent that the Lesson plan was not well thought out in the first video. There were no effective ESA stages. An Engage phase that doesn't cause confusion is important. If the students begin the class confused, it is hard to progress throughout the stages. Concepts should be introduced one at a time, and confusion is less likely when clear demonstrations have been made before you ask questions.
