The past tense, in all its shades, is taught in this unit. As for the present tense, the past can be divided into four categories: simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. This unit shows some of the most common mistakes done by students. I personally found that irregular verbs are particularly hard for any student. Past perfect continuous is also a big challenge in any class I have taught in the past. However,this unit helped me to clearly identify grammar rules behind the structure of the sentence.
