The unit taught me a lot about both conditionals and reported speech. It was very good to review the 5 modalities of conditionals and study their structure and function. I realized most of times English speakers use the mixed conditional, and now I'm able to explain it to my students. The second part of the unit was about reported speech, something that seems very easy and obvious but that has some rules that are important to note when teaching how to make a sentence to our students. It is important to remember how the different tenses change from direct speech to reported speech, as well as the words expressing time such as today, tomorrow, the next week, etc.
