Throught this unit I realized that when I write or speak, I do it naturally, and I automatically hear when a sentence makes sense without consciously applying grammar rules.It was interesting to revisit what I learn in school when I was younger. However, in this unit it was interesting to review how a basic sentence is composed and also it was interesting to study the parts of speech and to classify them. I was not only able to learn only how to classify the different parts of speech but also how and when to use them. For exemple, there is a rule to follow when you have multiple adjectives describing a noun, for exemple : A big, old, black wooden chair. (size-age—color-material) this is a basic order, however even thought we do it naturally it would be important to research other rules explaining the order for other types of adjectives.
