In this chapter I learned a lot about how to manage a classroom and the different factors involved in doing so in an effective way, such as size, physical space available, characteristics of the students (age, nationality, level, personality...). It was interesting to note how the teacher's position and talking time is not as important as it might seem, while the usage of gestures, eye and body language is key to promote a successful, relaxed and student-focused environment in the classroom. The teacher's attitude is also very important to maintain a good level of discipline, from respecting the students, being fair and punctual to never raising his voice or shouting and focusing in the problematic behavior rather than the student.
