Unit one covers teachers and learners, their relationship to one another, as well as their individual qualities. The content regardeing what makes a quality teacher includes their attitude, their role, and their actions in regards to the roles they choose to take up. In addition, there also content in regards to the learners. Included with this is their motivations for learning, the learning level, and other characteristics of learners.
In studying unit one, I believe that I have learned more about how to fulfill different roles at different times during my teachingn. Moreover, I was greatly helped with analyzing a learner's current language proficiency. It's from knowing their proficiency that I'm finally able to better help them learn more.
