Whatever the level of the class and however the teacher arranges the study phase of the lesson, there are four things that students need to do with new language - be exposed to it, understand it’s meaning, understand how it is constructed and be able to tactile and reduce it. This makes very complete sense and I could not agree less. Knowing how to teach new vocabulary, grammar structures and functions of words and structures has been good learning. It is more exciting to know that ESA method introduced in an earlier unit can be used in teaching new vocabulary and grammar and structures.
