In this unit, i have learnt the different parts of speech which includes; noun, pronoun, verb, adverb, adjective, gerunds, article, prepositions and conjunctions. I have also been able to identify these various parts of speech when used in a sentence. I can differentiate between adjective and adverb, noun and pronoun. While adjective qualifies a noun, adverb modifies or add meaning to the information or action of a verb, on the other hand, pronoun are words used instead of a noun. It should however be noted that rules in grammar do sometimes have exceptions.
