This unit gives ways of teaching special groups, including beginners which are separated in categories and can be challenging to teach but rewarding, and the unit gives some tips for teaching beginners. Then, it shows how teachers should teach individual students and choosing the suitable activities for them knowing that many activities cannot be applied for them because they are designed for groups. Later on, the unit states that it’s not that easy to teach children, patience, being fair and other criteria are important. At the end, the unit provides explanation about how to teach business English or other ESP for people, including what to do before, during the course and after.
In this unit, I learnt some techniques and activities that should be taught to students according to their ages, number of students and other factor, at the same time discovering which activities are suitable for every group. Also, I learnt the steps for teaching Business English to clients and this according to their needs that can differ from an individual to another, and what is the importance of making business English needs analysis.
