I feel that I took away two important points from this unit. First, I think that this unit highlighted how important the correct tense usage is. Identifying the different tenses was an important point of this lesson. I feel that learning the four present tenses allowed me to see/understand how they change a sentence. The second point that I felt was important in this unit was related to errors. It was interesting to identify where errors are most often made with the present tense. Each one has a set of error types that can be planned for. I feel that this unit has helped me to understand that these kinds of errors are common. What really jumped out to me was that the error examples made sense. It is easy to see why these errors occur so often, but this also makes it easier to plan for how to correct them.
