in conclusion unit 3 discussed extensively the method/ technique use in teaching learners of English language as a second language or as a foreign language. The methodology/Technique includes: Grammer-translation, Audio-Lingualism,Presentation,practice and production, Task-Based learning, The silent way, Suggestopaedia and The Lexical approach. Unfortunately, there is no basic rule to decide which is best to use, but depend on the teacher's personality, the culture of the students and their needs. The unit further discussed on the approach Students can be motivated, exposed to the English language and have the opportunity to use it. An effective method,called ' ESA' - Engage, Study and Activate was put up by Jeremy Harmer.
