I have a greater understanding of the various language levels a student may possess after reading. My impression after finishing the chapter is that a teacher must be flexible and not rigidly stick to one format of teaching, so as to not risk boring the students. The section describing the role a teacher has and the idea of pivoting between roles was a helpful concept. I found the section involving greater nervousness in adults surprising yet informative. One would think children are more nervous, as adults represent authority and are not peers.
