This unit talks about teaching pronunciation and phonology. Phonology is the study, science, analysis, classification of physical properties of sounds. I have learned in this unit that, students should be given the time for pronunciation, stress and intonation practice so as to make the students aware of the importance of accuracy and clarity of communication. I have also learned that, mouth diagrams, tongue twisters, and modelling sounds using your mouth, are good techniques for teaching pronunciation.
