This final unit covers troubleshooting, it started by the common problem situations, in the first lessons for example, each first lesson can be different from the other (new group, existing group). Then, the unit underlines the importance of warmers in the classroom as they are fun and engaging for students, later on, the unit covers the different levels that a class can have, the size of classes, the factor of using the native language, and how to deal with reluctant students, at the end, the difficulties with listening for students and how to deal with them.
In this unit, I learnt how and when to use the student’s native language, although I know I should keep it minimum and instead prevent this to happen like making clear instruction and using simple English according to each group’s level. I also learnt how to deal with reluctant student knowing that they may reasons for that and how to cope with them, also this unit has good ideas for warmers that can help me in my career.
