In this unit, we learned about what is involved in teaching three types of lessons: vocabulary, grammatical structures, and language functions. We learned what essentially needs to be learned in each type of lesson, different techniques for learning in each stage of the lesson, and a sample lesson for each type. This was my favorite unit so far. While answering the worksheet in the back, I finally feel like I have enough information to design a whole lesson targeted for a specific lesson type and age group. In this unit, it felt like all the information from the previous units was all coming together.
