Unit 12 discussed the next part of learning the new language: speaking and writing skill, two different but equally important skills for use to communicate the language with others. Writing skills are harder to develop because teacher tend to devote more time for speaking during class and writing is often done as part of the students' homework. Student also tend prefer to focus first on developing their speaking skills they don't have to worry as much about accuracy in terms of grammar, handwriting, and spelling. We can also see in Unit 12 how ESA methods and different games/activities can be incorporated to help students learn both skills.
