Unit 7 talked about how to apply ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) methods we learned in Unit 3 when introducing a new language to students, especially when teaching vocabulary, grammar, and language functions. The course recommends using the 'straight arrow' approach for vocabulary and grammar lessons, and 'boomerang' or 'patchwork' approach for functions lessons. Unit 7 also provided the different recommended activities associated with each lesson and its corresponding phases to assist teachers in lesson planning.
