This lesson covered pronunciation, intonation, stress, the way words are spoken versus how they appear, phonemic symbols, the physical parts of the mouth/throat that make different sounds, and teaching techniques. Physically feeling the inner workings of the mouth and nasal passage to create words is a great way to understand whether a word is being spoken correctly. I think being able to read phonemic symbols is important when studying or teaching English, and I appreciate its inclusion in this unit.
