This unit teaches us about pronunciation and phonology. pronunciation can be very difficult for students learning English. Students will probably never pronounce words 100% correctly. There are many different aspects of teaching pronunciation, including intonation and stress. This unit gives examples of the ways that intonation and stress can change the meaning of a sentence. This unit also goes over the International phonemic alphabet and how to use it. This part was difficult for me at the beginning but after some practice I now understand how to use this chart and will be better able to teach pronunciation to my students.
