This unit brought many ideas and concepts that I was unaware before starting. It taught me a lot about what a good lesson should contain. I like the idea of ESA and have already started implementing some of the concepts I have learned from this unit in my lessons. I have tried some of the Engage games, like My Marvelous Machine, The comparison circles and the consequences worksheet. The last was big hit with my students. I have implemented some of correction methods. Before reading this chapter, I feel like I may have corrected the students too quickly. The only problem with the unit that I found was that some of the concepts were brought up but not explored. For instance, The Silent Way and Suggestopaedia sound like very interesting methodologies and I would like to know more, but the unit just briefly went into them. But I imagine that's what the further reading section is for, which I will delve into soon!
