I learned the four different past tenses in English. I found some of them challenging. I use these tenses every day in my speech without even realizing it, so to review and break down the past tense was eye-opening. I also learned the common mistakes that ESL learners make while learning the past tenses. I will know what mistakes to look for, and I will have activities in mind to help my students learn the past tense.
