This unit highlights the importance of planning the lesson, especially for the novice teacher. This written plan serves as a guide, should remain flexible, and can be used as a record of the class too. The lesson plan should address the following: Learner objectives, personal aims, language point, anticipated problems/solutions, procedure/activities, the phase (E/S/A), the timing, and teacher/student interaction. An interesting point was considering something you can work on and improve as a teacher. Notes can be edited or commented on after class to document progress and ideas, and serve as a basis for the next lesson.
