In this unit i've learnt that conditionals contain a condition that has to be met or had to have been met. there are 5 types of conditionals. Zero conditional refers to actions or facts that are irrefutable 'water becomes ice if you freeze it'. First conditional is real situation in the future that is possible or certain if the condition is satisfied 'If i work quickly, i will complete this course before tet'. Second conditional is a hypothetical situation that is presently no and is unlikely to ever be true 'if i had a time machine, things would be a little different'. Third conditional is a hypothetical past action and the hypothetical past consequence 'it would have eaten me if it had seen me'. And finally the Mixed conditional is a hypothetical past action or state, and the hypothetical present consequence 'if i had listened to her, i wouldn't have looked so foolish'. I also learnt about reported speech and reported sentences from direct speech sentences.
