This unit was very informative for the future tenses. I found it beneficial for learning how to identify each tense. I was already comfortable with the future simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. However, I was interested in looking more carefully at the last three. The way that the "going to future" tense is used for intentions/plans was important to understand. Since it is a frequently used tense, I think that it will be important to understand how to teach it with emphasis on the use of a verb. The present simple and present continuous were also important areas that I found beneficial in this unit. Since the present simple includes usages for timetables/schedules, I think that it is important to know how to effectively teach it since such content is so common. Lastly, the present continuous also is important due to common usage. Arrangements and certain decisions/plans would be common in speech. I think that it is vital to know the importance of ideas for teaching, such as the use of diaries. Overall, I found this unit filled with great ways to make the future tenses understandable.
