Lesson planning has its pros and cons. To much panning can cause lessons to become fixed and hinder the teacher from being flexible during a lesson. Lesson planning is necessary for teachers who are inexperienced in order to be prepared for any challenges that may arise during their class. This unit has shown me how ESA comes into play and how it is used to create a good and effective lesson. A lesson plan aids the bigger plan and end goal. It can be referred to during the lesson for guidance and it acts as a record of what the class has learned and what materials were useful.
