This unit was about lesson planning. It covered some points about the function of a lesson plan, and then delineated important elements of a lesson plan such as the lesson's theme, the learner objectives, the language point, materials needed, etc. I really appreciate the example form of a lesson plan that was included in this unit. It provides for an organized record of what has been done in the class so that future lessons can be constructed in a logical manner without skipping or repeating necessary language points. The lesson plan is also a great place to make notes about what worked and what needs improved in a given lesson.
