An overview for this unit can be the following: the unit covers the class management issue, it started with showing the importance of eye contact, gestures, the voice and how to use them in different situations. Also, it states that its extremely important to remember student's names. After that the unit covers the issue of grouping students in different ways, from individually to pair works, whole class and group works also show the effectiveness and the negative points for each one of them. later on, the classroom management issue was being discussed, including, rows, circles and horseshoes, separate tables and also the importance of teacher position. Writing on the board issue, giving individual attention, teachers and student talking time management, were covered too. At the end, the unit shows how to give instruction, establishing rapport and maintaining discipline.
In this unit, I learnt that the teacher has a great influence on the students also I learnt that there are many factors that contribute the students behaviours, work and discipline but most important is how to manage these students effectively and how to avoid teacher talking time
