Unit 17: Equipment and teaching aids presented useful equipment and aids to have in the classroom to facilitate learning. They include a board, interactive white board, overhead projector, visual aids, worksheets/cards, tape recorder, CD player, videos/DVD's video camera, dictionaries, coursebooks, resource books, photocopier, and computers. There are countless online resources that are designed specifically for ESL. If I only had 5 of the above available to use, I would choose a white board, computer (with internet), visual aids, dictionary,and coursebook. Each has their pros to stimulate and motivate learning to supplement straight coursebook work and teacher talking.
