This unit we learned about modals, transitive and phrasal verbs. Modals indicate the level of intent be it my necessity, ability, and formality. Transitive verbs are those that have multiple words and depend on their position in relation to the subject or object in the sentence. We also learned about active and passive voice. Active voice is when the doer is the subject of the sentence and in passive voice, the doer is either the object or not relevant to the communication.
