As compared to present simple and present continuous which do not relate the past to the present, present perfect and present perfect continuous involves the past and relates it to the present.
Below are examples of each present tenses:
(1) Present simple:
- I work everyday.
- He sees the good in everything.
- They love the scenery.
(2) Present continuous/Present progressive
- I am starting to like my friend.
- He is going through a though financial crisis.
- They are figuring out the answer to the problem.
(3) Present perfect
