Teaching pronunciation and phonology is a very important part of teaching English together with teaching writing, speaking and listening. It shouldn't be neglected because good knowledges and skills at thise aspects will help students to avoid misunderstandings and be more confident while they are communicating. This unit was very helpful and informative because there were given not only a lot af material about intonation, stress, sound joining etc. but also necessary information about place and manner of articulation. Moreover I've learnt a lot about teaching techniques which should be used during teaching pronunciation and phonology.
