Unit3 is about how the way in which the English Language teacher helps learners learn the English structure effectively. To make their English class effectively, there are three main stages for every English Language lesson aside from other method of teaching. The first stage of the lesson is called "Engage Stage". At this stage, teachers develop kids interest in the topic they will learn. For example, playing music or showing them pictures that relate to the topic. The next stage is called "Study Stage". At this stage, teachers mainly present the knowledge contents of the particular topic to students. For example, teachers explain grammatical concepts to students by using pictures, songs or thought provoking questions (elicitation technique). The last stage of the class is called "Activate Stage". This stage mainly assists students to use the English Language learned to suite the context of their convenience by using the concepts what they learned in the study stage. For example, students having a role-play activity to speak in a dialogue or have a small discussion with other students together to discuss about what they learnt. In conclusion, every lesson must begins with Engage and ends Activate but could be felexibly planned to ensure accuracy and fluency.
