The teacher must learn to be flexible in the classroom, changing his or her role in order to manage the classroom effectively. In order to achieve optimal classroom management teachers must use all skill sets available in order to have successfully organized class, a friendly demeanor, a relaxing manner, and also be able to firm keep control over the classes behavior. I have learned throughout this course that critical thinking is greatly important because all aspects of the classroom effect your goals. You must arrange the seats accordingly, instruct accordingly, give the right amount of attention, try to understand student’s personal problems, use gestures, use eye contact and much more to have a strong working environment. As teachers, we must bend to our students because ultimately, they are why we are teaching and certain techniques such as seat arrangement or acting immediately to problems, or not, will make all the difference in our classrooms.
