This unit we learned about pronunciation. Most importantly, the intonation, stress, and articulation. Intonation refers to the rise and voice in your pitch and volume while stress is about where you choose to put the emphasis. Articulation tells us where we put stress through different syllables. In the phonetic alphabet, students are able to learn how to pronounce words based on sounds that are voiced and unvoiced. The difference between the two has to do with the presence or absence of vibrations in the vocal chords.
