I have learnt about the different parts of speech. Nouns are usually people, places and things. There are different types of nouns. Adjectives describe nouns. Articles are 'a,an and the'. Verbs are 'doing' words. There are only three types of auxilliary verbs namely' do', 'have' and 'be'. Pronouns can be possessive, personal,reflexive and relative. There are three types of prepositions namely of time, movement and place. 'Of' and 'with' are also prepositions although they don't fit into a category. Conjunctions combine words or sentences.
