This unit deals with the different forms of the present tenses : present simple, present contiunuous (or present progressive), present perfect and present perfect continuous.
This lesson shows as well the different forms for each of these present tenses : affirmative, negative and interrogative.
The different usages of these present tenses :
- present simple : habits, routines, facts, etc
- present continuous : action in progress at the time of speaking or around the time of speaking
- present perfect : finished actions that happened at a specific time
- present perfect continuous : recently finished activity which has a present result.
Finally, this unit provides some example of activities that can be realised at the activate stage for each of these present tenses.
