As I already teach I think I have a relatively good understanding of English grammar, especially as in Italy many schools really focus on grammar. The most salient points for me were the gerun as I don't usually teach this but it was explained very well as the "ing" form of a verb that is used as a noun in a sentence. I also particularly liked the explanation about the auxiliary verbs which help to "support" other verbs and the positioning of adverbs in a sentence. This wasn't very clear to me before but now that you have explained it I know that an adverb is usually placed after an object when using a transitive verb, and placed immediately after an intransitive verb. However, adverbs of frequency are placed the subject and the verb or between the auxiliary verb and the verb. Overall the grammar was explained clearly and it is always useful to revise these grammar points.
