This unit was very educational for me because I am currently a teacher and it will assist me to be more effective in the classroom. It has taught me that I do not only need to be kind and patient, but consistent motivation is very very important to young learners. I was not aware of new Common European States levels of learning the six very important levels from A1 to A2, B2 etc. I can confidently breakdown the differences whether motivational, behavioral, and experiences of all both young and adult learners. I can comfortably list qualities of both a good teacher which range from building rapport, patience, kindness, knowledgeable of the subject content, and a good learner whom should be willing to accept corrections, willing to experiment with the language, a good listener, and many other qualities. The first unit was informative and concise.
