This unit teaches you how to manage the classroom through various methods such as eye contact, gesture, and tone of your voice, classroom arrangement, getting the students attention, etc. This unit also discusses how a teacher can maintain discipline in the class and how to respond to problem behavior. I have learned from this lesson that some of the problems the students bring to the classroom are not contributed to the teacher's actions, but from the environment the students are being subjected to. For example, the student may have family problems that affect their learning and behavior. This is beyond the teacher's control, but the teacher can help mitigate the problem by talking and listening to the student.
