This unit explored two different video lessons. The same lesson is taught twice, but in different ways. One way is effective and the second with deliberate mistakes to demonstrate how not to teach. The purpose of this unit is to assist teachers in making good decisions in the classroom. The learning for me was primarily that of confirming good teaching behaviours and strategies, particularly in relation to building and maintaining positive rapport with students. The second video was also a good demonstration of effective sequencing of learning.
