Unit 19 covers the topic of teaching special groups. There are a variety of groups e.g beginners, individuals, children and business english etc. Beginners can again be categorized as absolute beginners; false;adult;young and beginner without Roman alphabet. Teaching beginners should be fun and visual aids,pictures etc. should be used. When teaching individuals some activities will be impossible. Individuals might have busy schedules and homework might be too much. Sometimes students might say that they just want a conversational lesson but the whole lesson cannot be just conversational. With teaching children lots of repetition is required and a slower more clearly pronounced delivery. It is not necessary to know the field of study of business students but to be able to teach them the English that they would need to use in their work.
