How to properly and effectively manage a classroom were highlighted in this unit. I was also taught how to properly use eye contact, voice and gestures as a way to manage a classroom. I also learnt different ways of grouping students whether as a whole class, individually or in pairs as well as some factors that determine the way a classroom will be managed or arranged. How to maintain good rapport, how to also discipline students and some possible reasons why students might have some problematic behavior and how to respond to such behaviors were also discussed in this unit. Something that was relatively new to me in this lesson was the use of the students names and when to and not to use it. It was interesting to know that a student’s name should only be called at the end of a question and not before it
