For unit 8, we reflected on future tenses. This included five basic tenses that were separated into their form, usage, common errors, and teaching ideas. The tenses are, future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, and going to future. These tenses have queues that indicate what tense they are. For example, future simple commonly uses 'will' plus a verb. An example would be, " I will know tomorrow". Future continuous uses a subject + will +be + verb + ing, such as, "We'll be waiting for you". Future perfect consists of, subject + will + have + past participle. For example, "I will have worked here for two years". Future perfect continuous includes, subject + will + have + been + verb + ing, such as, " I will have been working here for seven years". The last future tense uses the verb "to be" or "going to". "I am going to play soccer next spring". Some of present tenses are also includes in the future tense as they mix together.
