This unit contained eight lessons on parts of speech including, nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, and prepositions. With these sections, each one gave a break down of how to use the article of grammar, the rules, and examples. For example, adverbs add meaning or information to the action in a sentence. Adverbs are normally placed after the object of a transitive verb and normally immediately after a intransitive verb. There are five main types of adverbs, manner, place, time, degree, and frequency. In addition, adverbs can have attitude, links, viewpoints, and addition or limitation. With this information, we are able to create sentences such as, "She ate her sandwich quickly" -quickly, being the adverb.
