I learned that a teacher has a very important role in his/her students' learning process. That person must love teaching and be proficient in the subject matter being taught. A teacher must be able to make his/her classes interesting, so the students will be motivated to learn the subject matter. The teacher must tailor his/her teaching style to the age and motivation level of his/her students.
I also learned that students have a role in the learning process. They should expect a teaching environment that is crucial to learning. They should be willing to ask questions if any of the subject matter being taught is not fully understood.
