This unit reflects resources for managing a classroom in a positive and helpful manner. When managing a classroom we must think of eye contact, gesturing, voice, knowing students names, grouping, classroom arrangement, writing on the board, giving individual attention, teacher vs. student talk time, giving instructions, and establishing a rapport. These aspects are what allows teachers to develop their classroom so the students are engaged and successful there are many pieces of these management techniques that will help us understand further, the benefits of following them. For example, establishing a rapport is the relationship between student and teacher. It determines a students desire to engage and enjoy the class. Here are some ways to establish a rapport in a class, allow the students to correct each other, smile often, personalize activities for the students, give clear instructions, use group and pair activities, and get to know the individual students. There are many more ways to help build a rapport in a classroom and how to manage one. Meanwhile, the most important is for the teacher to be kind, determined, personal, and engaging.
