In Unit 14, we covered about different examples and materials to carry out lesson plans. This section was carried out in with authentic matierials such as newspaper articles, radio stations, videos that are great for all levels of students and are flexible for the teacher to carry out in the lesson and make it interesting. There are also creative materials such as, gap fills, crosswords, role plays, etc. that the teacher can easily make and engage the students with new material. Then the unit went through sample crosswords, role-play cards, and flash cards, that can be used in different lesson scenarios. Lastly, the lesson included the positives and negatives of having a coursebook for the class or individuals. Having a coursebook can be handy for the educator to follow some general guidelines and lesson plan materials. In addition, the teacher can alternate some ideas within the book and make it their own to tailor to the needs of the class.
