During this unit, I've learnt theories methods and techniques. Firstly, there are different kinds of methodologies, such as grammar-translation, audio-lingualism, presentation,practice,and production, task-based learning, communicative language teaching, community language learning, the silent way, suggestopaedia, the lexical approach, during the class we should choose difference one based on what students need. I also learnt a method called ESA, engage, study, activate. There are different games and activities in these three parts. And based on different orders, there are also different lesson types, like straight arrow lesson, boomerang lesson, patchwork lesson. At the end, I've learnt the difference between errors and mistakes, when and how to point and correct them to help the students achieve most.
