During this unit, I've learnt about basic grammar and parts of speech. I have a more systematical view about grammar.In a sentence, there are three parts, which are subject,verb and object. And when it comes to a specific word, there are nouns, and in this part, we should focus on singular and plural, countable and uncountable. Adjectives, which use to describe nouns, we should pay attention to comparatives and superlatives.Articles, indefinite Articles a and an, definite Article the. Verbs, which include transitive verbs,intransitive verbs, also related to verbs, there is infinitives and verb forms and Auxiliary verbs. I also learned about adverbs gerunds and pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions.
Teaching grammar is important for an English teacher, and by having good knowledge about grammar, it can help my class be more accurate, therefore can help the students to achieve better English level.
